Why We Built This Site
Oklahoma gives the public broad access to court records. The hard part is figuring out which office holds the file you want. The Beaver County Court Clerk keeps all District Court case files, including civil suits, felony and misdemeanor criminal cases, probate, juvenile, divorce and other domestic relations matters, small claims, and traffic filed in District Court, plus marriage licenses. The County Clerk is a separate office that handles land and county-government records such as deeds, plats, and recorded instruments, not court cases. The Sheriff runs the county jail and serves warrants, and the District Attorney for District 1 prosecutes criminal cases. Add the statewide tools, OSCN and ODCR for court dockets, the OSBI for criminal history, and the Oklahoma Department of Corrections for state inmates, and the picture gets crowded fast. Only the issuing court or government office can provide a certified copy with an official seal. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.
